I've had the opportunity to form strong bonds with the horses and I also got experience in western riding. The program gave me the time to work on myself, getting fit. It was great being able to work bareback to develop/enhance balance and equitation. It was also cool to learn mechanical equine massage and how to do fecal examinations and check for parasites. I learned how to be a supervisor as well which will help me a lot in my career. Jennifer was great... and we had so much fun together. ...and made sure I had a great experience in the U.S. Favorite things: cross country jump course,(!!) hiking to the top of the butte, and having the time to focus on me, my equitation and horse's care. She has a detailed training manual so it's very clear what is expected. The whiteboard in the tack room keeps you on task and the whiteboard in the feed room ensures you know what to feed. This makes it very easy to keep track of everything. The tack room is climate controlled and comfortable in the winter! She also has made sure to get great videos of my work and beautiful photo's to utilize in my future career search and had my recommendation done before I left.

I loved the horses! Jennifer expects a lot of us, but made training so fun. The adventures are the best! Finn is my favorite! I have learned so much from Jennifer, and am so happy I can train there!
